Improving our world is the very essence of hospitality. Much more than a hotel construction, development and management company, Dalwadi Hospitality Management is dedicated to being actively involved in our communities to support positive actions around the world and in our hometowns. We encourage our associates to volunteer their time helping organizations who are working to make a difference in their communities. D-Lanthropy is DHM’s philanthropic arm and we applaud our associates and investors who help us reach our giving goals daily.
Our past and on-going projects include sponsoring a water project every year to provide clean drinking water in remote parts of the world and donating baked sweets to deserving organizations, including the Relay for Life of Houston. Learn more about our D-Lanthropy projects below.
A non-profit organization that is working to bring clean and safe drinking water to, as they say, “every person on the planet.” Dalwadi Hospitality Management donates to charity: water for several reasons, but the primary reason is charity:water’s 100% Model. Essentially, this means that 100% of your donations go straight to their efforts, not to administrative costs. Dalwadi Hospitality Management proudly displays photos from charity:water in its offices to increase awareness to its effort. Our primary goal is to sponsor a water project every year allowing an entire community in remote parts of the world to have clean water to drink.

Owned and operated by the three Dalwadi sisters, Manisha, Amisha, and Sheetal, this business is their ambitious way of giving back to the Houston community. They call their philosophy “Sweelanthropy,” – baking with the sweetest of intentions. Once a month, the sisters practice their art of Sweelanthropy for a deserving organization. In the past, they have donated sweets to organizations in Houston including Desserts for the Deserving, Relay for Life of Houston, Diaper Houston, Valentines for Veterans, Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry, TEDxTheWoodlands, Houston, and Sugarland, and the American Heart Association – Houston.
2014 saw the first DHM all-associate day of giving to the community. This year’s local project benefited the Houston Food Bank. Other Texas-based charities supported by DHM and its associates include Humble Area Assistance Ministries and San Antonio Humane Society.
